Terms and Conditions

By booking a session with Maribella Portraits, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking Fee & Payments

A booking fee is required to reserve your session date and time.

All booking fees, deposits, prepaid session fees, and promotional payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

The remaining balance, if applicable, is due according to your selected payment plan or on the date specified by Maribella Portraits.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your session, you must notify us at least 5 days before your scheduled appointment.

Requests made less than 5 days before your session may result in the forfeiture of all fees paid.

Clients who cancel or fail to attend their appointment are responsible for any unpaid balances associated with their booking.

Rescheduling is subject to studio availability.

3. No Shows

Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice will be considered a No Show.

No Show appointments result in the forfeiture of all monies paid and may require payment of a new booking fee to schedule another appointment.

4. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their session shortened or rescheduled at the discretion of the studio.

Late arrivals do not extend the scheduled appointment time.

5. Hair & Makeup

Hair and/or makeup services begin at the scheduled appointment time.

If you arrive late, the amount of styling time available may be reduced to keep the day's schedule on time.

6. Artwork & Image Purchases

Session fees include only the items specifically listed in your purchased package.

Additional digital images, albums, wall art, and printed products are available for purchase separately unless otherwise included.

All artwork sales are final.

Due to the custom nature of portrait artwork, no refunds or exchanges are available after artwork has been ordered.

7. Artistic Style

By booking with Maribella Portraits, you acknowledge that you are familiar with our artistic style and editing approach.

Creative decisions regarding posing, lighting, composition, styling, and retouching are made at the photographer's professional discretion.

8. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

Arriving on time.
Following wardrobe and preparation instructions.
Providing accurate contact information.
Informing the studio of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect the session.

9. Liability

Maribella Portraits is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought to the studio.

Participation in a portrait session is voluntary, and clients assume responsibility for any risks associated with posing or physical activity during the session.

10. Force Majeure

If a session cannot take place due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party—including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, illness affecting the photographer, or other unforeseen emergencies—the studio may reschedule the appointment without penalty.

11. Promotional Sessions & Editorial Events

Promotional pricing, editorial projects, themed events, giveaways, and special offers are available only under the terms advertised.

These promotions cannot be combined with other discounts, transferred to another person, or exchanged for cash unless specifically stated.

12. Communication

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive appointment confirmations, reminders, service-related communications, and follow-up messages by phone, email, or text message.

You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.

13. Agreement

By submitting payment and completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and understand that your payment secures your reserved appointment time.

Additional clauses

No guests are permitted in the shooting area unless approved in advance.
Children are not permitted unless they are participating in the session.
No cell phone photography or video recording during the session without permission.
